Bulgaria has only been recently added as a destination by low-cost airlines which has resulted in some very cheap flights to Bulgaria. Among them are EasyJet, WizzAir, Germanwings and SkyEurope and more are to come. Low-cost airlines also drive down the prices of the other traditional airlines so be sure to check the prices of BA, Lufthansa and other airlines as they are sometimes just as cheap.

Below is a summary of cheap flights to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

From the UK:

	London Gatwick to Sofia, 7 days a week.
	London Luton to Sofia, 7 days a week. (late night arrival!)
	London Heathrow to Sofia, 7 days a week.

From Germany:

	Cologne to Sofia on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
	Dortmund to Sofia on every Monday and Friday.
	Three times daily from Munich to Sofia, twice daily from Frankfurt to Sofia and once daily from Duesseldorf to Sofia.

From Austria:

Vienna to Sofia twice daily. Great also as a connecting flight.

There are also a number of additional cheap flights to Bulgaria from Italy and Spain.
