We are able to offer such low prices by working closely with reputable local car rental companies in Sofia that benefit from the high volume of clients we bring to them. Also, and importantly to us, they like the type of people Budget Bulgaria attracts!

Please note: We deliver your car straight to you at either Sofia Airport (all terminals) or Sofia Central Station. No more waiting at car rental desks - we'll be holding a sign with your name when you arrive!

Whilst our prices might be exceptional, we have not compromised on quality or safety when appointing our local car rental partners. Budget Bulgaria's rental cars are all 2006-2008 vehicles, normally a Renault Clio or Vauxhall Corsa.

Standard Car Included in the Price:

If you are a party of three or more people we automatically upgrade you to larger car such as an Astra free of charge. Alternatively, you can upgrade for a small additional fee of £5 / €7 per day for each class beyond the standard car.

All car hire packages include:

collection & drop off to Sofia airport
unlimited mileage
theft and collision insurance (there are no hidden extras that will surprise you on arrival however there is an excess to pay if you have an accident. See our terms & conditions).

Optional Extras:

navigation system, £5 / €7 per day
additional drivers, £2 / €3 per driver/day
additional 12 or 24 hour periods of rental (handy if you land in the morning and want to return the car for a flight late in the evening), £15 / €20 for each 12 hour period
